March 6: Muttley Crew Rescue Adoption Event - From 10am to 3pm at Petsmart in Texarkana - 117 Richmond Ranch Rd. MCR is teaming up with other area rescues so there will be a great selection of dogs to choose from. All of the adult dogs have been spayed or neutered as well as micro-chipped and all animals are up to date on vaccinations. Adoption fees vary depending on vet expenses. March 6: First Annual Warrior Run - Overton Brooks VA Medical Center will hold the first Annual Warrior Run at Veterans Park on Clyde Fant Parkway, near Stoner Avenue, starting at 8:00am. This 10K/5K Walk/Run will be held to display our appreciation for the service and sacrifice of Veterans. Proceeds will support OBVAMC Voluntary Service programs such as: homeless Veteran services, rehabilitation equipment, social service assistance, comfort items, transportation, holiday gifts and other volunteer funded services.
